Strategy Phase
Steve grabs the "Imperial" card.
Melissa pulls the "Initiative" card. She gets the Speaker Token.
Nicholas takes "Logistics".
The players choose their second cards.
Steve takes the "Trade" card. He converts the Bonus Token into a Command Counter and places it in his Strategy Pool.
Melissa chooses "Warfare".
Nicholas the "Technology" card.
The "Diplomacy" and "Political" Strategy Cards were not chosen. They each get one Bonus Token. There is one on "Diplomacy" and now two on "Political".
To summarize,
